As the Chief Legal Officer of Data Analysis Inc. (DAI), Mr. Scott is a results-driven executive who plays a vital role in the company’s leadership team. He brings extensive expertise and strategic guidance in all legal matters, including corporate law, governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, litigation, data privacy, and risk management. Mr. Scott is at the forefront of implementing artificial intelligence tools to drive legal innovation, streamline processes, and strengthen DAI’s competitive position, fostering growth across the organization.

Before joining DAI in 2024, Mr. Scott most recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at CalAmp Corp. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Verra Mobility Corporation and he has previously worked at Husqvarna Group, Occidental Petroleum Corp. and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Mr. Scott holds a degree from the University of Durham, UK, and completed his legal studies at the University of Law in London, UK. He began his legal career as a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. Mr. Scott is married and enjoys travelling with his wife, playing golf and spending time with his three rescue dogs.
